My little boy, on his first day of preschool. Doesn't he look all grown up, carrying his "food basket"? To be fair, it's basically a glorified Mother's Day Out twice a week, though he is getting more proficient and singing/humming his ABC's.
The daily schedule includes naptime, but only 30-45 minutes of it. I like the 3 hour naps better, so I pick him up early. I did let him nap there once, just to see what would happen, and proved that 45 minutes does not a happy boy (or mama) make.
He has brought home one art project, and one report card. The report card caused us, his first-born parents, some concern -- he got an "OK" for rest time and didn't eat all of his lunch. We're aiming for improvement next time. ;-)
