So I had them cut off.
I let the stylist use clippers for the first time last week. This picture doesn't really do it justice, mostly because it's not nearly as short on top as it should be. And that's because when she started cutting the back, I started crying, and she said, "Why don't we just use clippers on the back this time, and we'll try the top next time." I have spent two years prefacing every haircut by saying, "I'm just not ready for the clippers." And now, I'm just one guard away from a buzz cut. Which will put me over the edge, I'm sure.
