At our house, May is pretty much consumed by birthdays and other celebrations. John's birthday just gets the ball rolling! For my birthday last week, Tommy got me an iPod. As it turns out, he actually got John an iPod . Whenever he sees it, he starts saying "Song! Song!" until we give him the headphones, but he only wants to hear "Taking the Long Way" by the Dixie Chicks. (And even if the iPod is no where in sight, if we start humming or singing the song, he stops what he's doing and starts looking around for it!)
So even though it looks like I'll be sharing my present, I had a great birthday with my boys!
