John with his Uncle Jack, on our walk in downtown Minneapolis. We walked from Nana and Grandpa's place to the Stone Arch Bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge over the Mississipi River. The building in the background of this picture is the North Star Lofts, where Nana and Grandpa used to live, and the river is just on the other side of that. This part of town is where the old flour mills for Pillsbury and General Mills were located, and you can see the ruins of the old mills along the river bank.
I didn't take a picture of those, but I did take a picture of the sippy cup that Betsy donated to the Mississipi River.
(It's the tiny pink spec about halfway up the frame.)
