A Very Happy Mother's Day

We want to wish our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers reading this a very happy Mother's Day! We love you all very much and hope that you had a wonderful day. And, we send our love to Aunt Shae and Aunt Natalie on their very first mother's day -- congratulations, and I hope you had fabulous days! Special congratulations to the moms we love with brand new babies -- Dawn, Alix, Amy, Sarah...

It was a great day here, with beautiful weather and plenty of sweetness from everyone. I love Mother's Day weekend because I usually get to roll it into my birthday celebration, pretty much guaranteeing that I get to sleep late both days of the weekend. (Thanks, sweetheart. :-)) We had a sushi date night on Friday, a relaxing Saturday morning followed by a fun Chinese wedding that night, and then Tommy and the kids made me breakfast in bed on Sunday before taking me to a decadent brunch. We walked around by the Bund for a while, and then went to church, then home for a bike ride, and finally, dinner and an early bedtime for everyone.
