*And now, a sob story. There should be more pictures of the kids to share. Many, many, many more. But woe to the person (in this case, people) who forgets to regularly back up their oppressively large iPhoto library. Woe, woe, woe -- most commonly experienced in the form of a dead hard drive handed back by the Genius Bar non-genius who was supposed to rebuild my iPhoto library and instead told me that my hard drive was failing and had to be replaced. Please pray that the forensic data recovery specialists (seriously) who are currently working their sweet, nerdy little fingers to the bone trying to extract my pictures will be able to find at least a shred of our photographic proof that we were in Shanghai for the last 18 months. And if I have ever emailed you a picture and you by chance still have it, would you email me a copy? Thanks. I promise to back it up.
